Warm Winter Comforts

I have been in Kelly's Crafters of Faith group on SCS since its beginning. Kelly is a gracious leader who encourages us as we mesh our love of God with our crafting. Each month one of us serves as hostess, choosing the Scripture and theme for the month's creations, which we post on the 7th of the month. I am this month's hostess.

Scripture: When they [the Wise Men] saw the star, they were overjoyed beyond measure.

Theme: For this month's challenge let's add a star (or stars) to our cards/projects.

I used a star quilt for the focal part of my card...

The sentiment seemed appropriate for a "quilt" card.

I hope Kelly and the other Crafters of Faith like my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Die: Gina Marie 4 x 4 Quilt Block Die

Stamp Set: Unity Warm Winter Comforts stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

This is so gorgeous! I love how it looks like a quilt, and how it came together for your star passage and challenge.

Great job with your star challenge - I saw it right away! Fabulous card and a wonderful challenge this month - I'm sure you will be a great asset to the new group next year.

I love this card. I think I have that die somewhere. I need to find it because I just really like this card. Great take on the star challenge.

Looks just like one of my grandmother's quilts. Wish I had taken the time to learn from her talented hands! Gorgeous card!
