Chill'n with My Friends

This is the third Wednesday of December, which means it is the day that Barb, Kelly, and I reveal our Ready, Set, Go cards.

Not sure what Ready, Set, Go is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.

Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme (this month it's Barb's turn), but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme.

This is Barb's theme...

My challenge this month is pretty simple.  Please make a winter card, using various shades of blue.  Be sure to add some sparkle or shine to your card.  Extra credit if you use a stamp that has not been inked up or one that has been neglected for a few years.

Thank you for a fun theme, Barb!

I have quite a few Whipper Snapper Design stamps that I purchased at huge discounts both in the SCS buy/sell/trade forum and years ago at a bin sale Whipper Snapper held in Wisconsin. I chose one of these stamps for my card. I'm not sure I've ever used it before. It's a cute little bear - not sure its name. It might be called Santa Bear, I'm not sure. The sentiment is also from Whipper Snapper Designs.

It's difficult to see the shine/sparkle. but it's there. The snowflake brad is a glittery one and the ribbon is, too. I also added accents of "shine" to the pom pom on the hat using a Viva Pearl Pen.

I hope Kelly and Barb like my card.
Be sure to check out Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with this Ready Set Go theme!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
