Let's Get Messy - Take 17

It's the 12th of December, time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Kelly, Terry and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

This month I attempted the Baby Wipe technique that I saw on SCS - HERE. It looked easy enough (looks can be deceiving) and messy enough (it was!).

This was my first attempt:

After several more attempts I gave up and chose the best one and made a card with it. My friends assure me it's about the fun (and the mess) but not necessarily the finished project. I hope they mean that.

Here's my finished card:

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Oh the wipie technique is always fun and I love your bright fun and cheerful colors! They remind me of lights on the tree! This did come out great and I do hope you had fun with it! Happy December HMS!

This is such a pretty card. I think the flower is cute and I like that you are challenging yourself every month. On to 2021!

I haven't tried this technique in a long, long time! I like the colors you got on your wonderful blossom!
