One Plus Twelve 2020 - Miss November

It's the 3rd of November... the day that Kelly, Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. One Plus Twelve is an idea that Kelly came up with last year - use one stamp (only one!) to make a card every month. Sentiments are optional. We had so much fun doing this last year that we decided to do it again this year. This year I chose Aleah Girl from Unity for my one stamp.

This is our 11th month - which makes coming up with new ideas for the one stamp a little more challenging. That's part of the fun, though. Trying to figure out something different to do each month.

This month I found inspiration for my design in my own front yard...

Every year our son wants to go to the pumpkin patch and get two pumpkins - a short squatty "Ernie" and a tall "Bert" and then he wants his dad to make jack-o-lanterns out of them. Brock proudly displays them on our little stoop at the front door, for all who drive by to admire. Then... when Halloween is over he goes out and tosses them onto the ground. SMOOSH! Most years he takes them to the roadway, but for some reason this year he didn't want to get off the stoop (maybe he didn't have his shoes on) so he just tossed them from there into the yard.

Traditions are fun.

I looked out at the shattered pieces of Bert and Ernie and my idea for this month's One Plus Twelve card came to mind.

Now let's head over to Kelly's blog and Barb's blog to see their One Plus Twelve cards.

This card is awesome--I love the details you used to highlight the image. I am glad you explained the picture that Brock smashed the pumpkins as I thought someone else damaged them.

A remarkable design, Jeanette! We all seem to find our lives broken into unrecognizable pieces these days. What a great way to use this wonderful Unity girl!
