Falliday Fest 2020 - Post 1

SCS's Falliday Fest started on Monday but life has gotten in the way and I'm just now getting started. I'm behind but I do plan to catch up. The challenges will be posted three days a week this week and next. Some promise to be more challenging than others and I'm sure I'll try out a few new techniques in the process.

 My first card, for instance...

This was so much fun. Lots of die cut shapes (I used leaves), blended inks (three colors), a spritz of water, and then a splattering of watered down white acrylic paint. Messy. Fun. Creative.

My card design is pretty simple but the technique just needed to be the shining factor, in my opinion.

My second card is even more simple...

Misti's instructions were to use buffalo plain on any holiday project. I decided to use a panel of it on this simple homespun looking Christmas card.

Only two Falliday Fest cards/projects for today, but I'll be sharing more of them soon (I hope).
