Hello From My Two Lips

Spring is in the Air! Tulips and Daffodils have made their way through the ground (still a while until they are ready to bloom, but at least we see them coming to life). Robins are plentiful. My husband says it won't be long and he'll be mowing the grass. YES! I am so excited! I am so ready for Spring! So much so that I made a Spring-like card to share with you today.

The tulips are from the Raisin Boat Bunny Hop stamp set, you can see the stamp set HERE. The Hello is from another Raisin Boat stamp set (Flourishing Thoughts) but unfortunately I think it is currently out of stock.

I used a sketch to make this card - it's a sketch that one of the FB groups is using right now. I hardly ever use sketches, so this was a stretch for me. I liked the sketch - well, all except for the 3 pieces of ribbon (it could have been cording but that just didn't look right on the plaid background). I think I would have preferred adding some enamel dots of something to it, but I tried to be true to the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamp Sets: Raisin Boat Bunny Hop and Flourishing Thoughts stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers

Very spring-like with the pretty colours and tulips. Your DP is so nice. The sketch you followed looks awesome.

What a great result Jeanette - and sometimes following a sketch is a 'good' stretch. Love your colours :)
