Something New with Falliday + 4 More

On Tuesdays I like to have a "Try Something New" post on my blog. Today is no exception. However, I'm also busy with Falliday, so I'm going to show you four additional Falliday cards, too.

Falliday Challenge #13
Block Party

Ceal challenged us to use our acrylic blocks to make the background on our card. I'll admit, when I first read her instructions I thought there was no way that could work. But it did. And since I've never tried this technique, it sounds as "Try Something New."

Falliday Challenge #14
Score One for Christmas

Chris challenged us to use "scored  lines" on a Christmas-themed card for this challenge.

Th score lines barely show up in the photos, but they are there:

Falliday Challenge #15
Put Me In, Coach!

Kyra challenged us to make a baseball-themed card. She loves sports - especially baseball. I am not a sports fan. Shhhh! Don't tell. So I went with neutral colors in hopes of not spotlighting any particular team. LOL!

Falliday Challenge #16
Textures of Fall

Misti challenged us to add texture to our fall/autumn cards. I did that by using an embossing folder to give depth/texture to my background. I also added a touch of ink to make the design more obvious.

Falliday Challenge #17
Christmas Around the World

Teresa challenged us to spread Christmas love around the world by using travel/world/globe types of things on our cards.

Oh what a fun theme! I love Christmas! And I love traveling the world so globes, maps, etc. are some of my favorite stamping supplies.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
