I Did a Thing

I did a thing. A new thing. Well, new for me. I participated in my first ever Instagram hop yesterday afternoon. I was interested in branching out and trying to get involved in some kind of hop/event on Instagram so asked my friend Barb if she had any suggestions. She recommended the Create It 3 Ways Instagram Hop. THANKS BARB!

Create It 3 Ways is a monthly hop (on the 3rd Saturday of every month) and each month there is a new theme. The idea is to make 3 cards based on the theme, hence the name Create It 3 Ways.

This month's theme is Holidays. I chose to make three Christmas cards. Are you surprised? I like to see how a stamped image looks different depending on how it's colored, so I used the same stamp for all three cards, and basically the same layout, too (just a few tweaks to it).

The image mostly colored:

The image uncolored, but splattered with Gold and Sparkle:

The area outside the image colored:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

A beautiful trio of cards, Jeanette! I think the first one is definitely the most eye-catching!
