Sketch #SC932

I struggled with this week's Sketch challenge - Sketch #932. Not because the sketch isn't a good one - it is! I discovered that I don't own many square elements to help in making the card, though. Things like stencils, dies, and such. I know. I could have used my paper trimmer to make squares... but truthfully, it doesn't cut quite to square and that bugs me.

But I was determined stubborn and would not allow myself to give up.

As  you'll see, I embellished this sketch, making it my own.

And UGH! There's a smudge of ink at the sentiment that I didn't notice until I photographed the card. I really need to get some new glasses.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamp Set: Annie's Paper Boutique Merry Christmas stamped with Memento Tuxedo Ink and barely colored with a Copic Marker

Ink (for blending): Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue (on the second square layer)

Papers: SU Misty Moonlight CS and DP from my scrap file

Dies: MFT Stitched Rectangles and Sizzix Squares

Embellishments: Glitter Enamel Dots and Washi Tape from an unknown vendor

So glad you are stubborn, sorry, determined, and this glorious card was the result - this is a beauty, one of the best Christmas cards I have seen for a long time
