BK - Away In a Manger

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

For today's card I used the Away In a Manger stamp today.

You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.

There is some subtle writing in the background of the scene. It is not part of the Away in a Manger stamp, but rather it's a background stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Matthew 1 Birth of Jesus. I stamped it first with very light ink and then stamped the manger scene on top.

The sentiment is from the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Love Was Born stamp set.

If you look at the Away in a Manger stamp you'll notice it has one larger star and a few smaller stars outside the window. My stamp does, too, but I took an exacto knife and cut out the window on the stamped image (not the stamp itself). I then attached a gold star brad in the opening.

Jeanette this is a wonderful card - that stamp is amazing, and you have used it to create an amazing card. I love that you altered the window to have just the one star. The script background is just visible and adds just so much to the scene.
