BK - Blessing One Line Sentiments

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I used the new Blessing One Line Sentiments stamp set today.

You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.

Card #1

I started by blending ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Once I was satisfied with the look, I set it aside to let it completely dry. Then I stamped the blessing sentiment onto the colorful paper.

I also blended yellow ink onto a smaller piece of white cardstock and stamped the word "blessings" on it.

Card #2

I used the Cloud Stencil and Pan Pastel Ultra Soft Pastels to create a subtle sky in the background before stamping the image. A circle stencil was used to create the sun.

The trees are from the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Silhouette Pines stamp

I wanted my sentiment a little further apart than the stamp allows so I used some Post It notes to mask the stamp while adding ink; then I removed the Post It notes before stamping.

It's very important to remove the Post It notes before stamping. Ask me how I know.

I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.

A pair of stunning cards Jeanette - yes, I too know about not removing the tape - by sad experience! That stamp full of sentiments will be so very useful, and I love how you used it in it's entirety on the first card
