DTGD A Piece-ful Flower Garden

I hope you have been enjoying the Dare to Get Dirty (DTGD) challenges on SCS. This is such a fun event each year. Normally only fan club members are able to see the challenge details but this year, in celebration of the 15-year milestone, everyone is invited to participate. Of course I don't know why you wouldn't want to be a fan club member. For a small fee you get extra perks and help support the forum we all love so much.

I know this is the 21st and the challenges are over tomorrow, but if you haven't started yet, or are miserably behind, please don't let that scare you off from participating. The deadline for posting (to be eligible for prizes) isn't until July 29th at 11:59 pm (CT).

I'm hosting one of the challenges - and it just happens to be one of today's.

A Piece-ful Flower Garden

I think there is something peaceful about being in a flower garden, so my challenge is to make a floral card that includes some paper-piecing.

Here's my card:

I actually used four different polka-dot papers for my paper-piecing (three colors of flowers and the leaves).

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamp: Deep Red Stitched Flowers stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink

Papers: Accent Opaque 120# White and SU Basic Black and Rose Red CS and DP from my scrap file

Dies: MFT Stitched Rectangles, MFT Stitched Tag-Corner Squares, and Paper Roses Hello Layered

Embellishments: Studio Katia Color Burst Pearls
