Hay There from Woodstock

This is the third Wednesday of August, which means it is the day that Kelly, Barb, and I reveal our Ready, Set, Go cards.

Not sure what Ready, Set, Go is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.

Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme (this month it's Barb's turn), but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme.

This is what Barb had to say about this month's theme...

We post on August 18th and that was the last day of Woodstock in 1969 (no, I was not in attendance…)   So—the theme is the word Woodstock.  You can think of the 60’s and go that route.  Or music and create a project with that theme.  Or, use part of the word Woodstock and make wood your theme.  Your Card—Your Project—Your Choice!

Here's my card:

Well, let's just say, I may have stepped a wee bit too far out of the area Barb had in mind but my card is about Woodstock. Okay, maybe not Woodstock... but it does have stock on it (livestock, that is) and wood (a wooden barn and a wooden fence.

Barb grew up on a farm, so I'm hoping she'll think this card is theme-appropriate. If not, I might get my hands smacked with a ruler, since she was an educator before retiring a few years ago.

I decided not to use any embellishments on my card as I thought it was pretty busy with all of the little farm critters, or "stock".

Be sure to check out Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with this Ready Set Go theme!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
