Blue Knight - Warm Hedgehog

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I used the Warm Hedgehog stamp set to make this week's cards. He sure is a cutie, all wrapped up in his winter scarf and hat and sipping something warm from a cup. The stamp set also comes with two sentiments.

You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.

Card #1

I went with very soft colors on this card and added the Merry Christmas sentiment to the bottom of the card. I also added some shine to the snow using a Glitter Marker as well as Stickles Glitter Glue, though it doesn't show up well in the photos.

Card #2

For this card I used brighter/bolder colors. I also decided to frame the critter with a die cut and after stamping the Merry Christmas sentiment, I trimmed it into two pieces to make it fit my card design better.

So what do you think? Do you prefer the softer coloring or the bolder colors?

I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.

Stunning cards Jeanette - love them both, but I think the softer colours win my vote this time around.

Sweet image- fun Christmas card too! Creative play with DP (again) and love the added black frame on the 2nd card. I go with the bolder colors : )
