Mission Possible 06.21.2021

Last March I debuted a quarterly adventure called Mission Impossible Possible in which I mailed a "secret" item to my two challenge partners extraordinaire - Kelly and Barb - and some instructions on the mission, should they choose to accept it. It was great fun and we continued each quarter with me sending them a different "secret" item each time.

They both wanted to continue on with this adventure in 2021, but we've changed things up a bit this year. First, we three are taking turns sending the "secret" item to the other two... and since there are only three of us, instead of this being a quarterly post, it will happen once in each four-month period.

This time Barb chose our "secret" item and sent it along with these instructions...

Good Day, Ms. Card-Maker. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves the use of an interesting stamp set that will be revealed to you upon opening this package. Two team members have been selected to work with you, I am one of them and I am sure you can guess who the 2nd is..... You both will be given the opportunity to accept or decline this mission. Should you choose to accept the mission, you have some time to complete it, as we will decide on a date sometime between May and August. You then will create a card using the enclosed stamp and post it somewhere in a public forum (blog, gallery, FB, Instagram, or such). The theme of the card can be any of your choosing; the only requirement is to use the stamp on your card!

This message will not self-destruct in five seconds, since I have no ability to do that and besides, you might need to refer to it again at some point.

Good day, Ms. Card-Maker... and Good Luck!

What's the secret item? What stamp did Barb choose??? The Picket Fence Collage of Birds stamp.

Thanks Barb!

I loved the variety of birds on the stamp - and in my mind birds ALWAYS make musical notes, so I paired a sentiment from the Taylored Expressions Simple Strips background set with the fabulous stamp that Barb sent to make my card.

I tried my best to line up the "colored" piece with the "colored" piece:

Please be sure to head over to Kelly's blog and Barb's blog to see their cards, too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
