You're In My Thoughts and Prayers

This is the third Wednesday of April, which means it is the day that Kelly, Barb, and I reveal our Ready, Set, Go cards.

Not sure what Ready, Set, Go is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.

Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme (this month it's Kelly's turn), but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme.

This is Kelly's challenge theme... Body Parts!

Last year, I had news that I needed  medical hip surgery.  Although I was bummed, I turned that frown upside down by thinking - let's make the best of it and have some fun with body parts!  Sometimes they bend and break or need to be repaired.   Good thing we have an entire rest of our bodies to lean on!

Your challenge this month is to create a card using a (as in one, SINGLE) body part. You may chose any stamp company/image you like but it can only show one body part. And because we're creative and often use the rule of 3's, let's take it up a notch!  Your body part can only be on 1/3 of the card!  The other 2/3 of the space you can use however you like, or not at all, and use whatever papers, EF, techniques, etc you like. You may also include one sentiment. Think outside the box, get as creative as you like and most of all, have fun - now let's get Ready, Set, GO!

I chose Hands as my body part, but then I got to wondering - since they are a pair, I counted them as one body part, but are they really two body parts. EEK! I may be in trouble.

Be sure to check out Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with this Ready Set Go theme!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

WOW Jeanette this is fabulous - of course a pair of hands is essentially one body part... especially when joined in prayer!
Stay safe

Beautiful and you 'handled' the challenge which was not the best one courageously and with a stunning card! I love the wee bit of dsp at the bottom.

What a perfect card for the challenge this month. I love the praying hands and the layout is just great to showcase the thirds!
