Let's Get Messy - Take 21

It's the 12th of April, time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Kelly, Terry and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

This month I decided to play with my Color Burst Powders again but to take it a step further. After letting the burst effect completely dry on white cardstock, I used the Cuttlebug Ann Griffin Matalasse embossing folder to give it some dimension. I highlighted the raised areas by lightly passing a Lawn Fawn Blue Jay ink pad over to top of it.

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Wow Jeanette, I love your card. The highlighting of the embossing folder with ink really POPS the card to a whole new level. Great job!

Very pretty Jeanette! I am familiar with using ink on the raised embossing panels and this is such an amazing visual! Awesome!
