My Strength & My Song

So, this is one of those cards that looked better in my head than it does on paper. I really struggled, trying to make it better and finally decided the Scripture is powerful so I'd just share it even though it's not to my liking.

Truthfully, my first intent with this card was to use a piece of sheet music for DP on it, but I couldn't get it to fit right so I ditched that idea. (That's why I used Ivory CS for the stamped piece.)

Tomorrow's card is better so please don't let this one keep you away from my blog. ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamp: Unity My Strength & Song, Lord stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored minimally with a Copic Marker

Paper: Recollections Black and Ivory and SU Bashful Blue CS and Paper Studio Cosmic Sky DP and other DP from my scrap file

Embellishments: Michael's Washi Tape and Music Brads from unknown vendors

I think you did a lovely job with this card. I like the musical theme and masculine feel to the card. Nicely done.

I like the scripture with the dark colored DP - it looks good!
