Jesus Is The Reason

I needed to make several Christmas cards (my husband and I send them to the pastors/families in our association - shhhh! Don't tell)... so I needed a CAS card and one that was fairly flat and bump-free so it wouldn't cost any additional postage.

To get the "gold" color behind the image, I sponged on two different ink colors and then added a third color with a little piece of filter that leaves a speckled look.

This was actually my third attempt at a card. I'll show you the two that didn't make the final design tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Supply List

Image: Taylored Expressions "A Winter View"
Sentiments: Stampabilities "A Reason for the Season" and "Glory of Christ"
Inks: A Muse Studio Buttercup, Orange, and Squash and Gina K Black Onyx
Cardstock: Recollections Black and White
Embellishment: A Muse Studio Ribbon
