Dueling Again in 2016

We've had a friendly duel going on for quite some time now... and it is continuing this year. The Dueling Darlings were hosted this month by Barb for the Divas and Tracie for the Dazzlers. Their theme is quite unique - and oh-so-fun, too!

SOUP

Barb and Tracie chose this theme because (in Tracie's words) "the cold seems to bring colds and flu so we thought this would be the perfect theme for this challenge."

Tracie's "Dazzler" Kit included CC Designs a "Chick N Soup" image, Bo Bunny Juliet designer paper, and an assortment of embellishments. THANK YOU, Tracie! The only thing of my own that I used to make my card was some cardstock (Recollections Black and Stampin' UP! Not Quite Navy).

Here's my card:

As an extra challenge, Barb and Tracie want  us to post a favorite soup recipe. I love Love LOVE to make soup! One of my friends gave me a recipe for Italian Vegetable Soup. I've made it a few times. It's very good.

ITALIAN VEGETABLE SOUP

Place in big pan and cook until tender:

Chopped Celery
Chopped Onion (green or regular)
Slice Raw Mushrooms
3 Cans of Diced Italian Tomatoes
1 Jar/Can Spaghetti Sauce
Garlic Seasoning of Choice (powder, raw, or minced)
4 Cans of Italian Green Beans (regular ones would work)
Sliced Zucchini
Rotisserie Chicken (skin removed, de-boned)
Enough Water for Desired Consistency

Let's head on over to the other Darling blogs to see their cards now. You can find the links in my left sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
