Ponies in Distress

I had a challenge to meet! Using distressing. Truthfully, I'm just not very good at distressing - whether it's roughed edges, ink smudges, or whatever. I never seem to think it looks right when I try to do it.

Today's card is no exception.

See what I mean? You can hardly see the ink distressing on this card. I smudged ink on all four sides of the brown designer paper, but you can hardly tell. UGH!

But it is what it is.... and it IS for a challlenge.

Oh, that's lovely :-) The background paper looks already distressed so I wouldn't worry. It's a fabulous card. Thank you for using one of my images :-D

I thought you distressed the background paper! I think you met the challenge. I have to say your horses are just beautiful. Your coloring on them is awesome!

I think it looks better than you give yourself credit for! LOVE that image- and the distressing is subtle and does not overpower it. Wonderful card!
