Merry Christmas Around the World

I've enjoyed being part of the Crafty Gals blog group this year. The challenges have stretched me. The friendships have blessed me. It is with sadness that I say, this is the last month of the Crafty Gals. Our leader, Melina, has decided not to continue it for another year. While I will miss this group of amazing papercrafters, I respect Melina's decision and will always treasure her friendship.

As our final challenge we have been asked to share one of two things - either the Christmas card we are making this year or our Christmas decorations. (Be sure and stop by all the Crafty Gals blogs and see what they have posted. The links are in my left sidebar.)

Well, since I don't send Christmas cards (*GASP*), I will show you one photo of a Christmas decoration in my home.

Why  is this the decoration I'm sharing with my blogging friends? Because it reflects who I am. I love to travel! I've been to 6 foreign countries and have traveled throughout many of the states in the United States, as well. Our living room decor is a travel theme - vintage suitcases serve as "makeshift" tables and I have quite a collection of globes. This Christmas bear is a traveler, too.

Many of our Christmas decorations have been obtained on various trips. When I decorate our home every Christmas, I am able to reflect on the many wonderful trips I've been on, which adds to the joy of the holiday season for me.

So, let me wish you a Merry Christmas in a variety of languages...
