Fly Like a Butterfly

My friend Linda (ljhart) has an annual swap on SCS - Butterflies - in memory of her infant son. I always consider it a great honor to participate in her swap.

Here's the card I made this year:

It doesn't show up well in the photos, but the diecut butterfly has some dimension. I glued just the tip of the Lavender Lace piece to the coordinating black piece under it and then used a pop dot under the  Lavender Lace one to pop it up and give it flight.

Here's the inside of my card:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Sentiment on Front: MFT Blissful Butterflies
Sentiment Inside: Verve Beautiful Kindness
Butterfly Images Inside: MFT Blissful Butterflies
Butterfly Die: X-Cut Butterfly
Ink: Amuse Studio Grape and Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock: Recollections Black and Stampin' UP! Barely Banana and  Lavender Lace
Designer Paper: Amuse Studio Bermuda Petite Polka Dot and DCWV Girlhood Stack
Embellishments: Michael's Rhinestones

Yet another beautiful card Jeanette. Fabulous colours and I love the wee pop of dimension on the wings.

Very pretty and just the perfect DP! The butterfly turned out great.

I think I may have a stash of Lavender Lace as well! ;)

I'll comment on your lovely card because it is so beautiful. I love the colors you used in creating this.

I also loved reading about your week and seeing the lovely snow pictures which is as close as I want to get to snow!

Cute photo - Christmas around the world.

Looks like a fabulous week to me.
