Cleanse Me

I am trying to do Patter's Hymn Challenge this year. I tend to fall a little behind, but that's okay. She doesn't have a time limit on the challenge, rather encourages people to participate when they can.

Today's card is for the 5th challenge and it features the hymn Cleanse Me (or Search Me O God).

We were chatting on the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge thread. Due to that conversation, it occurred to me that I've gotten into a rut. (I don't like ruts!!!) I tend to always layer my pieces with a piece of black cardstock. While I do like the look - and think the black makes everything pop, I do not want to be in a rut. So today there isn't any BLACK cardstock on my card. LOL!

Okay, so I cheated. I used Handsome Hunter instead (another dark bold color). Alas.... I'm in a rut!

Here's the inside of my card:

This is my 111th card for the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge...and today is the 97th day of 2013. Just 3 more days to an accomplished goal! Woo Hoo!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Very elegant. Handsome Hunter is a great choice. Looks like you've already met your 100 cards goal. Yippee!

Jeanette, I can't imagine you ever being in a rut. Everything you create is gorgeous! This card is an excellent example. I love the hunter green.

Oh Jeanette - if you're in a rut then stay in it because your creations are always perfect! I love this song - wonderful words. Bless you my friend!

Changing it up with Handsome Hunter - great idea! I like the Hymn on colored stock and with the stamping on top, very nice. That striped DP adds interest also. Nice card!
