Rain! Rain! Come This Way!!!

I'd love the rains to come... because that would mean Spring is here! Spring (after a long brutal winter) makes me HAPPY!

Speaking of Happy...

It's time for another Happy Monday Challenge!

March 7 - 13

Theme: Pastels

My Rainy card:

Deedee's Digis Puddle Dancing

I love this sentiment!

It reminds me of my son Brock. For those of you who don't know about Brock, he's my big strapping son - over 6 foot tall and solid. He's a young man now, in his mid-twenties, but he also enjoys life much like a child would. Brock is happy and fun-loving. He finds pleasure in small things. And Brock has never met a puddle he didn't like! LOL! He'll go out of his way to find a puddle to walk through... splashing all the way. On more than one occasion, he's come in from taking the trash out with water splashed clear to his knees. Oh, did I mention, Brock is autistic and he brings a lot of joy to my life!!!

I can't wait to find a puddle to dance in! Maybe Brock will point one out to me later today.

Image & Sentiments: Deedee's Digis Puddle Dancing
Ink: Copic markers and Copic Spica pen
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery
Designer Paper: vendor unknown
Embellishments: K & Co. rhinestone brad and Stickles glitter glue

Jeanette what a cute card!!! This is just so spring and it reminds me of when my son was 3 and loved playing in the puddles during the downpours :) TFS

Oh I love this! Brock sounds wonderful, too. I'm not implying that it's all fun and games,(what child is), but I must say I do have a special place in my heart for my autistic boys at school. I get their humor, ugg!

What a sweet card, Jeanette! Fun colors, and I really like the way you decorated the inside, too. The glitter on the clouds is such a fun touch! Your Brock sounds like an incredible blessing -- lucky you to have such a wonderful young man for a son! :-)
