Mudless Drywall Tape Isn't Just for Walls

Yes, you heard me correctly... check this out!

I bought a roll of Mudless Drywall Tape at a yard sale last summer.

Cost: 25 cents

Now, what to do with it???Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

I cut a piece of it a little larger than my card front and took the backing paper off of it. This left a slightly sticky surface, which I then stuck onto the cardstock.

I sponged Stampin' UP! Early Espresso ink onto it, making sure to get into the circles and along both edges of the strip.

I wanted to use lots of textures and somewhat rugged elements to my card, so I took a piece of cardboard (yes, a cardboard box) and tore it into a wonky shape. I pulled the backing off to reveal the corrugated look and then glued this onto the card front.

Other textures on the card include grosgrain ribbon and corduroy buttons.

Image: The Greeting Farm Forest Friends
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copic markers
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Natural Ivory and a retired color (I don't know the name of it)
Treasure: Mudless Drywall Tape
Embellishments: grosgrain ribbon and corduroy brads (vendor unknown)

Very creative! The roll reminds me of the dimensional dots, ala biggie sized!
