Oh my! Is this Victorian???

I am Victorian-challenged. LOL! I need input... puh-leaze!

Is this card Victorian???

My sweet friend Paola (a.k.a. Sweet P) is this month's hostess in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards swap. Her wish is our command, so to speak. She has challenged us with instructions to create cards (any occasions sentiment) with a soft, victorian element to them, that should also include the following:

"Something OLD" (use an old, neglected stamp that needs some loving) - got it! (I rarely use my Stampin' UP! sets these days and on this card I used both the Script background stamp and the large flower from the Bella Blossom set.)

"Something NEW" (could be anything of course ...) - got it! (the cardstock, duh!)

"Something LACEY" (add some lovely lace to your cards) - got it! (the Offray lace at the bottom)

"Something BLUE" (add something blue, even just a hint of it) - got it! (Blue Bayou paper and ink)

But the question remains... is it Victorian?

HELP!!!

Image: Stampin' UP! Bella Blossom
Background Stamp: Stampin' UP! Script
Ink: VersaMark (with clear embossing powder) and Stampin' UP! Blue Bayou
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Blue Bayou and Very Vanilla
Embellishments: Offray lace, embroidery floss, and a vintage button

It's a lovely card! I would say more vintage than Victorian, but I say go with it...

Well you've fit in a lot of the requirements, but I have as much trouble with Victorian as you do so I can't be much help. It's a lovely card though!

It looks like you got them all, but I'm so Victorian challenged as well so I'm probably no help to you. I love your lace ribbon. Your card is so pretty and elegant!

I'd say more vintage than Victorian, too.....add a blue cameo, and you're all set!!

Gorgeous card!

I agree with all the previous comments, Michelle. I'm victorian challenged too and really struggled putting mine together. Your card is lovely!!!
