Squigglely Showcase

I have two cards to show you today. They each feature a new Squigglefly stamp set. Both stamp sets were created by Michelle Bertuzzi.

The Up, Up and Away set has a variety of adorable images, including several sentiments, a hot air balloon, a fun tree, and others, but I decided to use the rainbow cloud image. I wanted it to be the focal point of the card front, so I sized it pretty large and colored it with my Copic markers. I also outlined the inside of the cloud with my clear and sparkly Copic Spica pen, but it doesn't show up much in the picture.

At first glance, this card might seem too simplistic. After all, it is just an image, a background of the softest cloud designer paper, and some mini brads. However....

take a look at the inside of the card!

The fun/funky sun was part of the designer paper and I thought it was a wonderful surprise for the inside of the card.

The Sympathy Sentiments set has ten different sentiments, each one perfect for those often-needed sympathy types of cards.

I went with a soothing designer paper and some rich colors to create this simple card. I added some rose-colored buttons for embellishment.

Up, Up and Away Card
Image and Sentiment: Squigglefly Up, Up and Away

Sympathy Sentiments Card
