What will you Recycle in This Week's Challenge?

April 4 - 10

This week participants are asked to include something recycled on their creation.

My card includes two different recycled items:

  • some buttons that I cut off of some old shirts that needed tossed.
  • a section of the plastic piece that was supporting the collar in a new shirt that my husband recently purchased. I wove some blue grosgrain ribbon in and out of the evenly spaced rectangular holes found in the plastic piece, giving the ribbon a wavy look.
Be sure to go to the challenge blog and check out all the projects, then get to creating and join the fun! I'd love to see what you recycle on your project! Last week, one of my online friends started a blog (BlueInks Design) and her very first post was her card for the Crafty Ho's Challenge. Isn't that awesome!?!?!? Way to go, Tami! I am so excited that you joined the blogging world.
