Hot Mess - Take 52

It's the 12th of November, time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Terry, and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

I do have to confess that this is the 52nd month we've done this series,  but only my 51st card, as I didn't make one last month due to our move.

This month I added some Luster Metallic Rub Ons (Colors: Russet and Midnight Sparkle) to a piece of silver metallic paper that had I had embossed with the SU Tin Tile embossing folder. I used my finger to add the rub ons - yes messy!

I have a difficult time photographing metallic anything - too much shine - so was glad that the rub ons not only added a touch of color but also took away some of the shine.

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

This is such a pretty card. You used one of my favorite background folders. And, that huge die is so cool!

What a fabulous result Jeanette - love the slightly matt appearance the rub-ons gave.
