Creative Crew 2023 - October

It's posting day for the Creative Crew. What exactly is the Creative Crew? We are a group of 7 card-making friends from various US locations who have a fun monthly creative adventure with a secretive twist. 

One of the group's members hosts each month. As host, she chooses a theme and puts together theme appropriate kits, which she mails to the other members, keeping one for herself, too. The group members all receive the same kit, but there is to be no conversation about the kit or the cards we're making. Then, on the 15th of the month, we all reveal our cards.

It's always fun to see how each person uses the kit. 

This month is actually the first month of Round 2 of this fun group and I am excited (and thankful) to say that everyone wanted to continue with Round 2. YAY! 

The first month of each round we don't have a host; nor a kit. Instead, Barb and I (co-leaders of the group) come up with an alternate plan/theme and each person uses their own supplies. This time we chose a theme for the group members to use...

Something You Love

I love Christmas! It's my favorite holiday.

Here's my card:

I love to color!!! I also love using scraps and other recycled items on my cards --> yes, that is a piece of designer paper from my scrap file, but the two little black half-circles are also from my scrap bin and even the image is recycled from a card I previously made but hadn't used.
