Lord of Heaven and Earth

On the 7th of each month (I'm posting a day late here on my blog, since yesterday was a DT day), the SCS Crafters of Faith group members share cards made with a common theme, chosen by one of the members. These challenges are inspired by Scripture, though the cards themselves do not have to have a religious theme.

Faye chose our Scripture inspiration and theme this month.

Scripture - Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:39)

Challenge - Use this verse for a card or layout idea.

I will admit I had to think quite a bit before I came up with an idea for my card. I searched my stamp inventory, hoping an idea would come to me. Nothing jumped out at me. What's a girl to do? Use some dies, a stencil and ink blending... and create her own words/sentiment/verse on the computer. At least that's what THIS girl did.

Oh, and a few cute brads helped, too.

I hope Faye and the other Crafters of Faith like my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
