Old School Stamping

Today's card is a throwback to my early days of stamping. I remember when a SU demonstrator introduced me to a fun technique. I can't remember what it was called - but the idea was to stamp a solid image (that's mostly what we did back then) and then just catch the outer edges of the stamp with another color. It was usually a darker shade of the same color. This gave the stamped image a bit of depth.

I decided to give it a try with the pretty little leaves from the Altenew Pen Sketched Silhouette stamp set. It is very subtle, but definitely adds some depth to the look of the stamped leaves.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
