It's a Shoebox Swap, No Foolin'

WOW! What a weekend it has been. Well, more than a weekend. The amazing time began on Thursday. I had the good fortune of attending my friend Barb's No Foolin' Retreat. (Actually I'm still there until mid-afternoon today). Crafting, eating, chatting, and more. It's been a joy to hang out with other card-makers, some I'd met before, one I felt like I already knew because we've been together online so much, and others that are brand new friends.

Here's the view from my chair (my space was somewhat organized, she said, while giggling - because, truthfully it was not very well organized, but it was a fun place to work.

Barb, thank you so much for putting so much love into this event and creating an environment where friendships can blossom. No Foolin', you are the BEST!

Part of the retreat was participating in the (optional) Shoebox Swap. Of course I wanted to do that!

This is the card that I designed for the Shoebox Swap...

Here's a picture of the pile of Shoebox Swap cards I created from everyone's kits...

Each one was creative and fun to make.

On Saturday evening we had a White Elephant exchange. Look at what I received...

Well, only because I stole it from one of the other participants. EEK! That was part of the game... but I was the first one to steal from another.

It has been absolutely amazing! I hope to be able to attend again next year - No Foolin'!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
