CoF Do Something New

On the 7th of each month, the SCS Crafters of Faith group shares cards made with a common theme, chosen by one of the members. These challenges are inspired by Scripture, though the cards themselves do not have to have a religious theme.

This month it was my turn to choose our Scripture inspiration and theme this month.

Scripture - I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19)

Challenge - Do something new with this month's card/project.

At first glance, you may wonder what is "new" about this card. If you'll look closely at the white panel, you'll see that the top edge isn't clear to the edge of the die. That's because I was going for a shaped card, which worked. But then I couldn't figure out how to photograph it since it wouldn't stand up so I adhered it to a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" cardstock.

It's also not totally new, but very rare that I make a card without using any stamps.

I hope the other Crafters of Faith like my card.
