BK - Friends Rock One Line Sentiments

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I used the new Friends Rock One Line Sentiments stamp set today.

You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE. There are actually 7 of these brand new sentiment strip stamp sets in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps online store. They are designed in such a way that the sentiments are stamped all at one time and then the strips can simply be cut apart, or you can use it in its entirety, like I did.

The other sentiments sets are: Lucky You, Happy Any Day, Blessing, Congrats, Sincere Condolences, and Thank You. Be sure to check them all out if you're looking for some simple sentiments.

Card #1

I happened to have some "rock" designer paper, which I thought would go perfectly with this stamp set, so I stamped the sentiments onto parchment paper to use as an overlay. The "friends rock" was stamped on white cardstock and added with pop dots. The black strip and the "friends rock" pieces hold the parchment paper in place.

Card #2

For this card, I used a stencil to blend ink onto the background. Again, I used the entire set of sentiments and stamped the "friends rock" on white cardstock, leaving it together instead of cutting it apart like I did on the first card.

I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.

What a wonderful way to use the sentiment stamp in it's entirety Jeanette - and yes, your two cards look totally different
