An Anchor for the Soul

On the 7th of each month, the SCS Crafters of Faith group shares cards made with a common theme, chosen by one of the members. These challenges are inspired by Scripture, though the cards themselves do not have to have a religious theme.

Renata chose our Scripture inspiration and theme this month and I just happened to have a stamp with the Scripture verse on it, so of course I had to use it.

Scripture - This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. (Hebrews 6:19)

Challenge - Make a card with a seafaring theme, using the colors of the sea and sky.

The colors of my card look gray (other than the enamel dots) but the true colors are blue, fitting for Renata's theme.

I hope Renata and the other Crafters of Faith like my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Anchor and Recollections Anchor stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers

Papers: Neenah 110# Solar White and SU Misty Moonlight CS and DP from my scrap file

Dies: MFT Stitched Rectangles

Embellishments: Gina Marie Enamel Dots
