I {Heart} Ice Cream

I make a card almost every day - and yesterday was no exception. I did make a card, which I'll show a bit later in this blog post. First let me show you what took up most of my time yesterday...

I canned 23 quart and one Pint-and-a-Half (those jars are rare but I have a few of them that I've had longer than I've been married to my husband) of tomato juice. It is a long day's work and really doesn't look like that much reward for my labor.... but we really like homemade tomato juice.

I was totally TOTALLY exhausted when those jars were filled and the kitchen cleaned. My reward came from Dairy Queen. Yep, my sweet husband brought me ice cream!

Speaking of ice cream, look at this cutie.

Whipper Snapper Designs - Emery

A super easy/quick card - because that's truly all I had the energy to do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Papers: Recollections 110# White and SU Real Red CS and DP from my scrap file

Embellishments: Heart-shaped Brads from an unknown vendor

I remember watching my grandmother canning and pickling way back in the day! How awesome that you have these skills, Jeanette!!

That ice cream card is so adorable!! Now scooping ice cream, that is a skill I have mastered!!

When my kids were small I used to do canning. There is a sense of accomplishment for sure.

Cute roll into the ice cream topic. Very cute card and a lovely design.
