A Helper Who Is Just Right

I enjoy being part of the Bible Art Journaling group on SCS. Julie, the leader, is the sweetest woman you could hope to encounter. She encourages us and is a great cheerleader as we attempt to draw closer to God and His Word through the art form of Bible Journaling.

Each month Julie gives us a theme; something to journal at some point during the month. This year she's decided it will be a Bible book challenge with an optional key word to use.

For January:
Book Theme - Genesis
Word Theme/Phrase - New, Beginnings
or New Beginnings

Obviously, my "new beginning" is really old news since I focused on the idea that God created me - me! - to be my husband's helper and we've been doing ministry together for many years now.

It is amazing to me that even before I was born (or as my mama says, even before I was a twinkle in my daddy's eye), God, in His infinite wisdom, knew KNEW that I would serve Him alongside this husband he had for me. WOW!

Then the Lord God said,
"It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make a helper who is just right for him."
Genesis 2:18 (NLT)

What a wonderful way to journal your Bible page Jeanette, and a beautiful testimony to the Lord's provision for you both, as you minister together.
