Enjoy Today!

It's the third Wednesday of July, which means it's the day that Kelly, Barb, and I share our Ready, Set, Go creations. Not sure what that is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.

Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with over two years ago and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme, but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme. Ready? Set? Go!

This month it was my turn to choose the theme.

I told Kelly and Barb that I am always impressed when I see cards/projects where the crafter used a stamp/die in a way other than it was originally intended to be used. I even shared a few examples with them, just to get our creativity flowing, which of course I didn't really need to do because Kelly and Barb are two of the most creative people I know... awesome card-makers!

This is the July theme... Make a card using a stamp or die in a way other than it was originally intended.

Ready? Set? Go!

Did you figure out what stamp on my card is used in a different way than intended? It's the flower pot. The flower pot is actually a lampshade, turned upside down.

There She Goes "Lighten Up" stamp set:

Here's the inside of my card:

Be sure to check out Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with this Ready Set Go theme!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I'm oohing and awwing over this gorgeous and quite clever card! This is one fun idea to invert a lamp shape and create a vase - very clever :) It's such a cheerful and happy card with the little flowers blossoming onto the card - a fun challenge this month! I'd say you chose well!
