One Plus Twelve - Take Three

Kelly had a great idea to use one stamp twelve different ways in each of the months of 2019... and she asked Barb and I to join her in this adventure, which she called One Plus Twelve. Of course Barb and I quickly agreed and on January 3 we each revealed which stamp would be "the one" stamp. On the third of each month we will reveal another card made with our one stamp.

I went with the artsy dragonfly from the Unity Be the Best stamp set. You can see my January card HERE... and my February card HERE.

For March I decided to do no coloring - and to use no designer paper. *GASP If you know me, I love to color - LOVE to color! And I also love designer paper. So this was quite a stretch for me.

And not only that, I tore the top layer of paper - which is another thing I rarely do.

My card is quite simple - CAS. But I kind of like it, in its simplicity.

I was a bit nervous about attaching the stamped white piece exactly on the stamped piece below it. It's not perfect, but it's not too far off.

I added two strips of rhinestones, but I also added three single rhinestones to add some balance.

I had fun creating this card and I hope Kelly and Barb like it. Now let's head to their blogs to see their One Plus Twelve cards...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Oh this is an interesting technique! Yes, it does have an elegance in it's simplicity and the torn paper gives is a wonderful dimension. Love the string of bling - 'thinking you' make quite a statement with this one!
