Try Something New with Tissue Paper

It's Tuesday... so it's time to try something new. I actually saw this idea on a Unity video a few days ago and just had to try it.

Tissue Paper Colored with Copic Markers

The first thing I did was stamp the image on regular tissue paper. I used my Misti to do this so that I could stamp it 2-3 times to get a good clear/crisp image. Then I place a piece of card stock behind it because I knew the Copic ink would bleed through the tissue paper - which it did. I colored the entire image with Copic markers. Once finished coloring, I wadded it up in a tiny little ball. Then I carefully flattened it out again and attached it to a piece of white card stock using a glue stick (the kind children use at school).

It was an easy and fun technique! I'd highly recommend trying it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

OH Jeanette, I can't keep up with all your posts, lol, but so glad i didn't miss seeing this beauty. I would not have known it was tissue paper had you not pointed it out, as your coloring is that outstanding! Lovely card!
