Trio of Dragonflies

JessicaLynnOriginal has a cute dragonfly digital image...

She also has a challenge to go with it. The image is free on the FB page and she's encouraging everyone to show pictures of their projects. Hurry and check it out HERE because it won't last long.

I had so much fun playing with the image that I made 3 cards.

Card #1

For this first card, I tried a technique that I had noticed in a Unity tutorial earlier this week. It involved stamping the image on Kraft cardstock and coloring it with a white colored pencil. My card is much too plain for my liking, but the coloring technique was fun!

Card #2

Card #3

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I used the following items on these cards:
JessicaLynnOriginal Dragonfly Digital Image
Copic Markers
Koh-l-Noor White Colored Pencil
Cardstock - Recollections Black and Kraft and Stampin' UP! Garden Green
Designer Paper - Scraps from my scrap file
Cloud 9 Rain Dots
Paper Studio Brads

I love how each one came out different. You've inspired me to play with craft paper more with your first colored one jeanette!

The image using white on Kraft c/s may be too bland/plain, but I really love the background on the 1st card. It really sets it off.
