The Sky Is the Limit!

Today is going to be a punchy day... because it's the 28th and the Calendar Girls have been given a "punchy" theme for our monthly challenge.

Paola is Miss August and here are her instructions to the Calendar Girls:

For the month of August, I would like to challenge everyone to embrace the PUNCH ART technique...yup, dust off your punches Ladies! Please feel free to use a stamped sentiment of your choice, but the main focus is being creative, using punches .

THANK YOU for a great theme, Paola!!!

What did I decide to make?
A punch art airplane!

I actually like this little plane because it reminds me of my daughter who moved to Alaska about a month ago and has had the opportunity to fly in little bush planes a couple of times. She is quite the adventurer!

Here's the inside of my card:

I hope you'll check out the other Calendar Girl blogs to see what they made with punches. You'll find the links to their blogs in my left sidebar.

Oh, and look at these cards that we made at a card class I attended a week ago (all three used punches)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Sentiment: Our Daily Bread Keep Climbing
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Cardstock: Recollections Black and Gray and Stampin' UP! Ballet Blue
Designer Paper: A Muse Studio Clouds
Embellishments: Spare Parts Sunburst Brads

What a cutie Jeanette. I love the plane and especially after reading SCS and your blog this morning about your daughter and flying in Alaska.

The other cards sure are cute too!

Cute and creative plus!! Love the little airplane and all the rest of these wonderful cards. You'll have to send that first one to your daughter.

Oh I knew when this challenge was handed down (months ago!) that it was for you! If anyone could master punch art, you sure can -- and see! Not only is this the cutest lil plane around but brilliant! My son loved the Disney's Plane movie that just came out (okay, we did, too - LOL) and it made me think of that.

The other cards are so cute, too!

Lots of fun on the blog today!

What a fabulous 'plane Jeanette - and great background! You really have made your punches sign on this card.
Love the other cards too, particularly
the yellow and black one.

Your punch art card is just perfect. The perfect DP {of course!}, the perfect theme, the perfect little plane and perfect details.

Great job on this one!
