Scrapbooking Was My First Papercrafting Hobby

My first encounter with designer paper (I do love that stuff!!!) was years ago when I decided I needed to scrapbook the pictures we have taken over the years of our married life. You know, the boxes overflowing with baby pictures, vacation trips, holidays, and so much more. It was an overwhelming notion... and one that soon got put on the back burner (so to speak) when I discovered the joy of making cards.... and my happy place (the forest on Splitcoast Stampers). hmmmmmmmmm.... I'm not even sure when I last did a scrapbook layout.

That being said, I do like scrapbooking and so admire those of you who are caught up in the efforts to leave that legacy for your families.

Perhaps that is why this House Mouse image touched my heart. See, the thing is, I don't really care for most House Mouse images (don't clobber me, please!) But I do like this one.

So........... being the wonderful scrapbooker that I am (snickering!) I made a card! ;)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copic Markers
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Black and Brocade Blue
Designer Papers: from my scrap file
Embellishment: Stampin' UP! Black Grosgrain Ribbon

Fantastic image AND card! Love all those little mice on here. Very cute with the bright colors of the card too.
I've never even attempted a scrap book page. Have too many pictures and think it would just be overwhelming to even know where to begin on that! LOL!
Love your cute, cute, card.
