My Treasure Hunt Made Me Smile

This past week, I found a rather unusual bag filled with goodies at one yard sale I checked out.

Take a look...

Yes, those are badges - Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Bowling, Harley Davidson, Etc Etc.
Cost: $2

Now, I admit, that is more money than almost every other single Treasure Hunt item I've purchased for card-making......... but it was too unique to pass up. (I might try to find a market for re-selling some of them).

I chose just one badge to use on this week's Treasure Hunt card.

Add a Smile!

The yellow strip in the middle (Think cheery) is a piece of ribbon from my ever-growing ribbon stash. (Have I ever mentioned that I have way too much ribbon?)

As you can see from the angled view, I even added a splash of designer paper to the inside of my card. I've been doing that quite a bit lately. I think it adds a finished touch to the card.

This is a cheerful - colorful - card. It makes me happy!

hmmmm... there's no image and no ink on this card. Imagine that!
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Chocolate Chip, Cool Carribean, and Pink Pirouette
Designer Paper: from my scrap file
Treasure Hunt Find: embroidered badge
Embellishments: ribbon and rhinestone brads
