I Love Sunflowers!

I have always loved sunflowers! I love their large blooms and how they point their beautiful "faces" towards the sun. I love driving past a field of them (perhaps you only find this wonderful sight in Kansas, I'm not sure) and watching them sway in the prairie breezes.

I love sunflowers, so imagine my delight when I found a wonderful Sunflower image at KLM Digital Designs. And trust me, the price is right! It's a FREEBIE! (I do have to warn you, though... KLM has lots and lots of wonderful images, so you're probably going to want to buy some.) Oh, and have I mentioned??? THE SUNFLOWER IS A GORGEOUS IMAGE!!! Just take a look:

Since the Sunflower is so pretty and somewhat bold, I wanted to keep the layout and embellishments simple. I chose a couple of designer papers and a splash of dark green ribbon and added that large vintage button for a dramatic effect.

Image: KLM Fall Sunflowers
Ink: Copic markers
Cardstock: Stampin' UP! Chocolate Chip, Handsome Hunter, and Summer Sun
Designer Paper: from my scrap file
Embellishments: organdy ribbon and a button
