An Oops Turned into a Win

Sometimes I get a smudge when stamping. Am I the only one? Usually it means tossing the piece in the trash and then starting over. BUT when it's stamped on a piece of double-sided designer paper, that's not necessary.

You might remember seeing a card featuring the Iwo Jima stamp set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps on my blog earlier this month. If you missed that blog post, check it out HERE. For this particular post as a design team member I was supposed to use that exact piece of designer paper. UGH! I smudged the ink. Not to despair, I had other pieces of the same paper so I just used a different one and moved on.

Before throwing the smudged piece away I turned it over to look at the bad side. BKRS designer paper is so thick that the ink had not bled through. So I stamped Iwo Jimo on the back of that smudged piece of designer paper and made this card...

Here's the original card:

Which one do you like best?
