I discovered the Dirty Dozen Christmas (Sketch) Challenges on SCS this year and have enjoyed making a card each month. Yes, I know (now) that these challenges have been going on for ten years, but I had no clue. Sometimes I think I have my head in the sand. But I digress. This being May, it's my fifth time to participate.
I love the stamp set I used and the sketch. That being said, I'm not too happy with my card. It just seems so plain. Odd for me to say that because I mostly make very simple cards with not much embellishment, but this one needs more. I'm not sure what it needs more of, but something.
Maybe I need to make this one of those cards that you start with a simple design and then make it better. I'll think on it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Wonderful woodgrain background for this fabulous image!! The perfect Christmas card, Jeanette!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully made. I think it is perfect the way it is, but if you want to add something, I would add sparkle to the star. A rhinestone, or Wink of Stella glitter maybe. I do love it as is. TFS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Jeanette - my reaction was to add three rhinestones to the ribbon on each side of the image??? Just my pennyworth.
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
