My ONE in 2021 - February

The 3rd of each month is a special day here on my blog - it's the day that Kelly (the founder of this series), Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. The idea is to use the same ONE stamp (not a set) each month to create a card. Sentiments can be used, too, if we choose. Want to know more? You can read all about it on my January 3rd blog post - found HERE.

I really like the maple leaf that I chose as my ONE stamp for the 2021 series. Because it is a pretty simple image (more so than my images from the past two years) it lends itself to using other creative elements on my card. For instance, this month I left the stamp totally uncolored but stamped it onto a piece of white cardstock that I'd added four squares of color to, using a stencil and blending brushes and ink. So very easy, but I like the effect.

I hope you'll keep an eye out on the 3rd of each month this year to see how I do with this ONE stamp - and also will check out Kelly's and Barb's ONE stamp cards, too. Speaking of which, let's head over to their blogs now to admire their February cards.
